Message: Third time there for me and I was not let down. Food was excellent and the waitress was pleasant. Very nice. Steak sandwich, patty melt and 2 steak dinners for lunch all great.

Message: I have been coming to Tom's Place for over 30 years; its changed little in that time, and I couldn't be happier! With everything else downsizing the size of their meal and doubling the price, I am grateful to have Tom's Place the only one I can think of that hasn't. I usually come for breakfast and get chicken fried steak with an order of biscuits and gravy. It can't be beat! The most recent time I came by for dinner and the same bartender that's been there since forever was still there she makes a cocktail the way they are meant to be so if you don't like a heavy pour I suggest wine or beer! I had chicken fried steak for dinner this time, with cherry pie and a strawberry milkshake in a to go cup, and everything was as excellent as it was in the 80's please never change!

Message: First time eating here and let me tell ya.. it was delicious! After a long day of fishing at Rock Creek Lake, a nice juicy plump burger sounded amazing, and it was exactly what I had in mind! This place has been around since 1910, and it has a very rustic, old western feel to it but with a café atmosphere, if that makes sense?! Either way, food was great, the service was great, everything was great!

Message: Excellent little cafe. Good food and friendly staff.

Message: Got the spicy Italian sausage sandwich and tortilla soup. Delicious, great time with friends. Friend was moaning about his chocolate shake, so got one to see if it was that good. Oh I was moaning too. Best shake I ever had.

Message: A lot of history in this place! Well preserved and full of memorabilia. We had a hearty American breakfast with a side of country fried steak which I really recommend. Home made salsa is bomb! We enjoyed the family atmosphere and our friendly server.

Message: This is a must stop on your way down the 395. Whether you are fishing or paddling at Crowley Lake, live in the area (lucky you), or are just driving by and are hungry never don’t stop here! This place has earned that right, surviving two pandemics, they must have it figured out. The place was clean, bathrooms included. The staff was very friendly and scenery while dining was very interesting and a good conversation starter. Oh, you want to know about the food, ok. So the prices are good and the food better. I’d definitely come back.

Message: We were served with Cathy that day and she is a good hostess who made sure we enjoyed our food and even gave us a little history about these places. Tom's place is historic and have endured a few ownerships. It is across their lodging and very near to a sno-park. I had a Turkey toast sandwich which despite being a bit salty, it was very delish. If I'm on 395 again, I would stop by here again.
