Message: I would say all apartments everywhere are overpriced right now. With that being said, this apartment complex is the most affordable in the area. There are students living here and as you would expect, most of the problems stem from students who have loud parties, make messes and don't clean up after themselves.. Having good roommates make all the difference. Cleaning up after yourself and having roommates who do the same, makes all the difference.

Message: All in all great option. Spacious rooms, chill environment. Pool is nice to have. Has two vending machines could use 2 more. Computer/ printer in commons area going a small gym which is very convenient. Verrry afordable comes furnished SUCKS there's no kitchen just aini fridge isn't enough for 2 people also. Wish the sinks were bigger. Laundry on site but it's very dingy parking is doable.

Message: This place gets a lot of bad reputation but it’s honestly exactly what you’d get for the price anywhere else. The only legitimate knock on the student living accommodations is that there is no oven, and if you’re living in dorms that’s the same case as well. Any problem you have with the apartment, there is a maintenance team ready to take care of it the same day or even the next day. Both Hayley’s, Cameron, and the rest of the ladies in the office are super helpful and will do anything and everything they can to help you. It honestly makes my day when I walk into the office and they say “Hey Quincy! ” and tell me any updates on my mail or room without me asking. I have never had a bad experience with The Slo Student Living. I was only here for a year and I would stay again if I hadn’t finished my degree. Great prices help eliminate stress of over working to account for rent & utilities, location is close to both the university & community colleges, and there are tons of food options within a 5 minute walk. If you are outgoing, they surround you with people ready to socialize and if you are quiet and reserved you are roomed around people who enjoy their privacy. If you’re a first or second year student, there is no better place for you to stay in San Luis Obispo! Thank you guys for everything this past year!

Message: Management is extremely helpful and easy to work with. Most of them are college students so they're a little easier to talk to than most other places nearby. As great as they are, management usually ends up getting blamed for a lot of problems that are really just caused by irresponsible college students that have never lived on their own. A very high percentage of these reviews are problems caused by people not planning ahead and could have easily been avoided. You won't find a better dorm style living environment anywhere else on the central coast. Also for what its worth, the food is good and the gym has some good equipment.
