Shell Beach Inn

Message: Wonderful location and beautiful rooms. In walking distance to restaurants and a short drive to Avila Beach. The heated pool was delightfully perfect for our family of 4. We stayed in room #6 and only wished we could have stayed longer. The beds were very comfortable and luxurious! The personnel were friendly and very helpful. They welcomed us with a container of fresh ice, popcorn and hot chocolate packets for the kids.

Message: What a fun place. We stayed in the suite. It was very roomy for a family of four, even had a front and back patio! The kids loved the record player with old albums.

Message: Small 10 room boutique motel. Rooms were nice, but highway 101 too close and noisy. Location is between Pismo Beach downtown area and Avila Beach. Neither are within walking distance and not much around the motel. Probably wouldn't stay there again.

Message: We have stayed here before. This time new owners. Lady checking us in was very nice and made sure we knew of all amenities/details, which were very well thought out. Great location for walking down the street to cliffs overlooking a beautify shoreline. Will stay here again if in area.

Message: Hello,. The Shell Beach Inn was amazing. From the time we checked we were serve with great hospitality and kindness. The location was great about less than a block from Pismo Beach. There was plenty of good food, music, and arts and craft. Let me say, the Junior Suite #11 was very nice and clean. We didn’t want to leave. We only stayed 1 night. We got an opportunity to meet the owner. He was nice and a delight to speak with about his hotel. We definitely have found are hideaway spot forever. We will be returning soon! Thanks again,. Message: I instantly fell in love with this beautiful boutique hotel! The service was great and the room was beautiful! The pool area was my favorite, lots of places to sit and relax and my favorite part was the cozy blankets on each chair. I also loved that we were walking distance to restaurants and markets. I have already booked my next stay!

Message: This boutique hotel was perfect for our weekend! The room and property were well-cared for, personalized, and comfortable. I loved the mini kitchen with dishes already supplied for a night in if you wanted. The pool was decorated with inviting lights, well-heated, and included a cozy lounging area with heaters. The owner checked us in and came to our room to make sure that we had everything we needed (including coupons for the surrounding food establishments & popcorn) and when he found out it was my birthday, he even gave me a free bottle of my local wine!
