Kon Tiki Inn

Message: First time here, our 37th anniversary, spent three wonderful nights with my wife. You want to relax? Forget your worries? This is the place! We had a second floor room. Great view from anywhere here. We walked to the pier, grabbed dinner at Brads, our go to for chowder and fish. The pool is so nice and clean. Jacuzzi feels so good at the end of a day of walking all over the place. Room very nice, bed comfy, entire place very clean. Nice continental breakfast, free, enough to get you to lunch. Great place for kids! You can take stairs down to the beach from the hotel, just a perfect visit. We are planning to return next year for our 38th anniversary. Enjoy!

Message: We’ve stayed here three times in as many years while we visit our daughter at Cal Poly. All the amenities of a beach resort (pool, hot tub, beach access, sun chairs) and still only 15 minutes away from SLO. Ground floor rooms are nice for walking out to the pool and beach. Balconies have a little more privacy and better view of the beach. Access to the adjacent athletic club is a major bonus if you want to work out, play pickle ball or sauna. Breakfast is basic and keeps you from having to leave the property right away. This is not a new facility so expect some details to be worn. The crew does a great job keeping rooms, grounds and pool clean. Careful when booking: they have a strict cancellation policy.

Message: This place is great for some relaxation. You can hear the waves crashing on the beach from your room

Message: Absolutely outstandingly beautiful and well-run seaside place to stay with direct beach access (stairs down cliff to beach). Staff is attentive and “above-and-beyond. ”.

Message: Love this inn! Honeymooned here and have returned and will continue to return. All the amenities, location and great price! Will try top floor next with the fireplace!

Message: We love the Kon Tiki Inn! The location, the room, the beds, the view! Everything is great here… besides the free breakfast, but free breakfast is free breakfast so I can’t complain!

Message: Awesome find! The place is very clean, not anything fancy but has all you need and more. Super comfy king size bed, continental breakfast, free parking, free wifi, pool and 2 hot tubs, access to beach, balcony or straight access to pool area, AND ocean view front in any room you stay! We were only passing by and stayed for a night but we definitely want to come back! Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Message: What a wonderful weekend! It was a rainy weekend but our stay was terrific! Erwin was the first staff we encountered. He went above and beyond! The front desk staff was also great! Everyone had a smile and were very friendly. The room was awesome! The ocean view was so relaxing. The bed was super comfortable. There were plenty of electrical outlets and USB ports. In-room coffee pot, refrigerator, microwave, chairs on the balcony. There was continental breakfast with the usual breads, bagels and Danish, cereal, fruit, yogurt plus a waffle maker to make your own fresh, hot waffle. We were looking for one thing negative about Kon Tiki Inn.. we couldn't! We will be back! Thank you everyone front the GM to the housekeeping staff!
