Edgewater Inn & Suites

Message: I absolutely Love this Inn! The view was amazing and the service was wonderful! The room was quite spacious and had everything I needed including a fridge and microwave. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that their animal policy made it quite difficult. I am allergic to dogs and I was continually navigating around the dogs. I fully understand and appreciate the need to have dogs - I'm just wondering if maybe there could be one floor designated for no animals for those of us who are allergic.

Message: Great hotel near the beach. Included parking. Had a small complimentary breakfast, juice and coffee. Great way to experience Pismo Beach.

Message: This is a serviceable, 2 star hotel. The bed is a spring mattress, slightly lumpy but serviceable and we slept just fine. The sheets were clean and soft enough. The room is clean with lots of towels. The air conditioner worked great. The pool is nicely heated and the spa is toasty warm. The grab and go breakfast included two homemade muffins that were delicious. The hotel is within walking distance of the pier and tons of food places and shops. Pismo beach is a great place to experience nature. The hotel has direct access to the beach itself. The staff were helpful and smiled a lot. The rubber mat in the elevator reeks like old tires and is the only negative. You definitely get great value for your money at this beach hotel. The hotel is older and can use a remodel, but you get what you pay for and the price was reasonable. We stayed at the seacrest the week before on our way up to San Francisco. That was a 3 star hotel, it's a bit fancier, and definitely costs more. Both hotels give a good value for the cost. For hotels at the Edgewater price point, this is a good value.

Message: I booked a 2 queen bedroom, very small for a family of 4. Tried to upgrade to a bigger room but couldn't due to booking through a third party (next time I know not to do that) you can only upgrade if u call directly. Room was ok, smelled old. Quick walk to the beach

Message: Great family hotel! Staff are friendly and inviting. They offer coffee, juice and pastries in the morning. And tea, coffee, and hot cocoa through the day. We have stayed here every summer for the past 10 years. It is located right next to the beach. A 5 min walk from old west cinnamon roll and 10 minutes from the pier. The rooms are basic but the beds are comfy.

Message: Very friendly staff in the office, our clean room had everything we needed and a balcony with a small sea view. The wide beach is within walking distance. Certainly not a holiday hotel, but perfect for an overnight stay or a shorter stay.

Message: Got a suite for a night. I remember staying here as a kid so I didn’t know what to expect cause the age of the hotel. Room was in good shape and the service was outstanding. Pool and hot tub were in great shape too. Clean, pet friendly, I will be coming back.
