Fireside Inn

Message: I am a long time well-seasoned Car Traveler. I have traveled from West Coast to East Coast and from the Mexican Border to the Yukon to Newfoundland then back to California; always staying in one motel or another along the way. I have become very picky as to what I expect from a Motel. Last few times I have stayed in Morro Bay (in various Motels/Hotels) I found them to be lacking cleanliness (in bathroom/beds/room in general) along with a non-responsive and uncaring Staff. The Fireside Inn has really impressed me! Our room was clean and well-appointed; TV, Microwave, Internet, Clean/Comfortable Beds, and a GREAT friendly and caring Staff. AND it is just 2 Blocks away from the Bay.. 3 minute walk! The Fireside Inn will be getting more business from us in the near future. We loved it! Thank you Fireside Inn for being a great place to stay!

Message: Rooms are updated and very nice. Management is nice as well. Wi-Fi is advertised, but does not work. You can sign on and it disconnects immediately. I think the hotel needs a better, upgraded plan. Don't count on having Internet service. I stayed three nights, no internet. Otherwise a great place to stay!

Message: The gentleman in the office was super kind and helpful even though we arrived late. Prices are really good when comparing the room quality and such. The room was super clean including the bathroom and shower. Overall I’d definitely recommend fireside especially if you don’t plan on being in your room a ton because you have too many awesome adventures awaiting you! Book your room and enjoy your trip!

Message: Close to most of the shops and restaurants in the area. You can see Morro Rock just down the block! They have two rooms with a view of Morro Rock.. Friendly front desk person, great location. Good amount of parking spots and easy to get into/out of the parking lot.

Message: The room was great. Two issues.. A/C did not work except on fan only and the mattres is a spring mattress which is not very comfortable. Also, I did not appreciate housekpeeing knocking on the door at 9:40am on the day of checkout, especially when checkout is at 11am. That was annoying. Otherwise, great staff and excellent location!

Message: Stayed here for 1 night and everything was perfect. Clean Room, comfy bed and fresh towels for the bathroom were provided. It was also very quiet in the night, so I had a good sleep.

Message: This motel was in an ideal location with a spacious king-sized room. Water pressure in the shower was weak, no continental breakfast, TV was difficult to navigate/didn’t have the best channels, slower wifi… but the mini fridge was huge! Lol. Definitely a bit outdated, though the price was very adorable.

Message: My room was nice for the most part. It had the amenities you would expect, TV, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron and ironing board and a blow drier. No problems with service and the hotel was conveniently located near the Embarcadero, Th Farm Market downtown and a number of eateries and shops. The only down sides were that the baseboards on the room appeared to have been torn away from the wall leaving a messed up strip around the perimeter of the room. Also, the soap and shampoo were dispensed via small wall mounted dispensers that were a bit stingy with the amounts they dispensed.
